All praise to Allah for all the blessings that have been given, shalawat and greetings to our great prophet Muhammad SAW.
Today, we could all gather here in order to attend the Organization Of Islamic Cooperation – Cultural Activity by the theme of “New Cultural Challenges and Globalization”.
Welcome, ahlan wasahlan, to State Islamic University Sultan Aji Muhammad Idris Samarinda. It’s the only university of state Islamic-based in East and North Kalimantan or Borneo, Indonesia.
Today is an extraordinary opportunity that Allah has given to us because we can stay in touch together with OICCA 2023, Inshaa Allah, it will be a blessing for all of us.
It is an honor, this university that could represent the values of Islam, education, and culture in East Borneo, Inshaa Allah, more precisely, to be a central scientific destination for the Indonesian archipelago (or that we called Nusantara) in the days to come.
As the Rector, on behalf of the entire academic community of UINSI Samarinda, I am glad to welcome the delegations, participants and speakers from OIC members who are here to exchange experience and work together for few days on the exciting field of Islamic cooperation.
Maashaa Allah, I would never have imagined that such a perfect scenario from Allah would open a strategic opportunity to further evolve UINSI Samarinda. It turns out that UINSI Samarinda has become the figurehead of the capital’s universities.
Even for the first time UINSI Samarinda is being honored to be hosting the country’s dignitary, from the OICCA 2023. If it was not from Allah permission, it seems impossible that all of this would be realized, laa haula walaa quwwata illa billah.
On behalf of the entire academic community and committee of UINSI Samarinda, I apologize if there were problems or deficiencies in this event.
